Port Arthur Conservancy was established as part of the Morice Land and Resource Management Plan. The conservancy is located on Babine Lake and protects an excellent all-weather boat haven on the longest natural lake entirely in B.C.
Conservancy Size: 342 hectares – 294 hectares of upland and 48 hectares of foreshore
Date Established: May 29, 2008
The conservancy is located 70 kilometres east of Smithers 16 kilometres south of the Village of Granisle.
