Discover Parks was developed by the BC Parks Foundation, our official charitable partner. The program is supported in part by the BC Parks licence plate program.

Experience an array of activities independently and at your own pace. From detailed birding checklists to informative trail guides and virtual tours, these activities are crafted to enhance your park visit and increase accessibility.

Guided activities

For those seeking expert guidance and insider knowledge, discover guided activities. These are bookable activities hosted by knowledgeable Discover Parks Ambassadors or trusted Park Operators specializing in nature-based adventures, like guided nature walks. Guides accompany you on personalized journeys, providing deeper insights into the natural wonders that surround you.

Discover Parks features a dynamic range of nature-centric events. Whether you’re looking for education, opportunities to steward the land, connection with community, or just a bit of fun. This category has something for everyone.  

Discover Parks Ambassadors

The team of Ambassadors offer educational and fun experiences to visitors. Find them at their booths or running free programs, including nature walks, evening amphitheatre programs, and Jerry's Rangers. They extend their reach by providing community programs, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to access and enjoy parks.
