Our vision: B.C.’s provincial parks are welcoming and meaningfully accessible to all.

Parks are for everyone. BC Parks acknowledges that some visitors experience visible and invisible barriers to accessing and enjoying parks. We’re committed to creating meaningful access by removing as many barriers to full participation as possible through the entire park experience.

Inclusion steering committee

Since 2015, we’ve been working with an external Inclusion Steering Committee, to help us make parks welcoming for all visitors. We seek to better understand what visitors need so they can feel psychologically and physically safe and comfortable in parks.
