Donate land
The Province of B.C. accepts donations of land that will enhance its parks and protected areas. Donations are tax-deductible, provided they are not required as compensation for a subdivision.

Commemorative gifting
The BC Parks commemorative gifting program is on hold while we conduct an extensive program review. We are currently unable to receive donations of commemorative park benches or other facilities. If you would like to be added to our distribution list for any updates, please contact bcparksdonations@gov.bc.ca.
Park Enhancement Fund
The Park Enhancement Fund (PEF) allows BC Parks to accept revenue from donations, camping fees, partnerships, and other sources. The PEF supports projects that enhance the BC Parks system, including:
- The BC Parks Licence Plate Program. This funds hundreds of projects, including conservation and visitor experience initiatives and the Student Ranger Program. To learn more, visit the buy a BC Parks licence plate page.
- Volunteer-led conservation and recreation projects. For information, visit the volunteer with BC Parks page. Check our Instagram and Facebook accounts each spring to discover opportunities for getting your project funded.
Donations of $25 or more are tax-deductible, and official tax receipts are automatically emailed when you donate online. If you would like to give a gift to a specific project, or donate by cheque, please contact bcparksdonations@gov.bc.ca.
Leave a legacy
We are often asked how to bequeath all or part of an estate to support BC Parks. This is most easily done through our official charitable partner, the BC Parks Foundation. The foundation can accept gifts through estates and wills. These donations are tax-deductible.
