Dewdney and Glide Islands Ecological Reserve was established to provide a research area containing extensive bog and fen ecosystems representative of outer islands along the northern mainland coast. It is closed to the public.

Getting there
This Ecological Reserve is located in the eastern Hecate Strait, about 150km east by south east of Sandspit and 12km west of Campania Island. For reference, use marine chart #3724 (Caamano Sound and Approaches) and #3911 for Gillen Harbour.
