BC Parks Response to COVID-19: See Details »
As of :
Frontcountry camping reservations are currently closed for most parks for the season. Some campgrounds remain open on a first-come, first-served basis through the winter months.
Two parks are open for reservations over the winter months – Porteau Cove, which is available up to two months in advance; and Garibaldi, which is available up to two weeks in advance. These reduced booking periods are in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Release dates for 2021 reservations (including Berg Lake Trail and Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit) will be determined in early 2021.

Golden Ears now 100% reservable during peak season
To improve visitor experience, camping in Golden Ears Provincial Park will be 100% reservable during peak season, from May to September.
The popularity of camping in BC Parks has grown significantly over the years. This has created a demand for more reservation opportunities, so everyone has fair and equal access to campsites regardless of where they live.
Two popular parks added to Discover Camping reservation service
Camping enthusiasts can soon reserve sites at two popular provincial parks — Joffre Lakes and Tweedsmuir South.
Beginning April 2, 2019, at 7 a.m. Pacific time, the 26 backcountry tent pads at Joffre Lakes will be reservable through Discover Camping, along with 24 vehicle-accessible campsites at Tweedsmuir South.
