Liard River Hot Springs Management Plan
BC Parks is developing a park management plan for Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park to replace the 1990 Master Plan.
Management Planning Schedule
Stage 1: Initial Planning and Project Plan Approval (current stage)
During this stage, the planning team will gather initial comments from the public and other stakeholders to identify the values, vision (the desired future condition) and principles that will guide future management of the protected areas. The goal of this time is to determine key management issues.

Liard River Hot Springs is home to the endangered Hotwater Physa, a freshwater snail species endemic to the area.
- Thank you for your feedback and suggestions on how you would like the protected areas to be managed. The initial public comment period ran from May to September 2020 and is now closed.
