Liard River Hot Springs Management Plan
BC Parks is developing a park management plan for Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park to replace the 1990 Master Plan.

Stage 1: Initial Planning (complete)

The initial public comment period ran from May to September 2020. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions on how you would like the protected area to be managed. Over 1200 surveys were completed.
- Liard River Hot Springs is home to the endangered Hotwater Physa [PDF], a freshwater snail species endemic to the area.
An Ecological Overview Assessment report has been prepared for protected areas in the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area, including Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park:
