Joffre Lakes Provincial Park Draft Visitor Use Management Strategy

BC Parks is in the process of developing a visitor use management strategy management plan for Joffre Lakes Provincial Park in partnership with the Lil’wat Nation and N’Quatqua. The Draft Visitor Use Management Strategy for Joffre Lakes Provincial Park will be available for public review until April 4, 2021. This Strategy builds upon the 2019 Visitor Use Management Action Plan, which was informed by surveys conducted both online and in the park.

Visitor Use Management Strategy – Planning Schedule

  • Stage 1: Initial Planning and Project Plan Approval (complete)

  • Stage 2: Development of the Draft Visitor Use Management Strategy (complete)

  • Stage 3: Draft Visitor Use Management Strategy Open for Public Review and Comment (current stage)

  • Stage 4: Development and Approval of the Final Visitor Use Management Strategy
