About This Conservancy

Ecstall-Sparkling Conservancy was established as part of government’s land use decision for the North Coast planning area.

The Ecstall River is a highly productive watershed with important salmon spawning areas and five species of trout.

The conservancy is accessible by river boat.

Conservancy Size: 40,577 hectares

Date Established: June 27, 2008


The conservancy is located approximately 40 kilometres southeast.
