BC Parks Education Booklets

Learning about and connecting with nature is a lifelong journey and we are here to help. These booklets are designed to be used in parks to help you connect with nature with hands-on learning about the land, all while being safe, respectful, and responsible in BC parks and protected areas. We encourage you to use these booklets with your families to deepen and sustain your relationship with the natural world. While teachers can capitalize on this free curriculum linked resource to enhance their field trips to BC Parks.

The BC Parks education booklets are completely free and are offered in select parks across the province. The development and production of the BC Parks Education Booklets is made possible through the BC Parks License Plate Program. Always call ahead to sure the park you are interested in has booklets, or print them and bring them yourself. If you are a teacher or camp wanting to get your hands on several colour copies you can order some from Melissa Quin at Melissa.Quin@gov.bc.ca.

Children and Youth

The booklets have been created so that families can pick them up and go, providing a launching point for their child’s connection to and self-guided experience of BC parks and protected areas. All booklets contain provincially-relevant activities that can be revisited or repeated in any provincial park across BC.
